👍️ Expensive Pit Stop

Federal agents have cracked the case of the great dime heist in Philly.
A truck carrying $750,000 in dimes (that's over 7 million of the little guys) bound for Miami was robbed overnight.
Thieves made off with $234,500 worth of dimes, leaving thousands of the shiny coins strewn across Philly.
They also nabbed some frozen crab legs, shrimp, and beer…because, why not?
The thieves were caught, because it turns out it’s hard to launder that many dimes 😏

Let’s dig in!
🤝 Boosting Client Trust With Model Portfolios

In a world where financial confidence is rarer than a unicorn, there's a game-changer on the scene: model portfolios.
According to a survey by Natixis IM, investors using model portfolios are feeling twice as confident in their financial states than those who aren't.
Let's dive into the numbers and explore why model portfolios are the financial advisor's secret sauce.
🚨Paradigm Shift Alert!
Gone are the days when model portfolios were just a secret handshake for institutional investors.
Now, a staggering 93% of financial advisors use them to manage client assets.
It's a seismic shift in the financial advisory landscape, reflecting their adaptability to our ever-changing world.
🤝 Trust is the Name of the Game
Here's a jaw-dropper: 97% of clients invested in model portfolios trust their financial advisors.
By contrast, it's just 73% for non-model clients.
That trust forms the bedrock of stronger, lasting relationships, and it should be music to your ears.
👍 Turning Volatility into Opportunity
While others tremble at the thought of market volatility, model portfolio enthusiasts see it as a golden ticket.
An impressive 78% view market turbulence as an investment opportunity, leaving only 47% of non-model clients in the same boat.
And here's the big takeaway…
Model users are half as likely to feel the financial jitters.
💰Personalized Financial Advice
One of the most interesting golden nuggets I gleaned from this study was the fact that 62% of model portfolio investors WANT help from their advisor with retirement income planning.
On the contrary, just 43% of non-model users are interested.
✏️ What to Do With This Info
Based on this intel, my recommendation to you – if using model portfolios – is to lead with this when you meet with clients.
Lead with the benefits of model portfolios and how they reduce your current clients’ stress levels and allow them to take advantage of investment opportunities in today’s market.
The average client in today’s market wants to feel confident.
If you can instill an expectation of confidence in spite of market conditions, you’ve won.

🤷 What Most Advisors Get Wrong About Branding
In the virtual world, your online presence is your first impression.
That means your LinkedIn profile, website, and whatever else pops up on Google when people search for you…
…is how people will perceive you.
And when I work with our high-level clients, I’m always taken aback by how many advisors get this completely wrong.
But here’s the thing…
It’s not your fault, per se.
The problem is that nobody has come along to teach you the right way to brand yourself.
There’s too much to unpack in this one newsletter, but I do want to give you one takeaway to chew on…
❌ People don’t care about your company, logo, corporate mission statement, or what carrier you work with.
✅ They care about YOU.
If you’ve ever doubted that, think about this:
Why does Elon Musk have 161 million followers?
While Tesla has just 21 million followers?
It’s because Elon is a person.
Tesla is a business.
People…buy…from…people.
Be yourself and let your personality shine through.
Not sure where to begin?
Here are some ideas:
💡 Record a quick 3-minute selfie-style video in your kitchen and explain why you chose a career in financial services
💡 Scrap the stuffy company logo in your LinkedIn banner and replace it with a client-focused Unique Selling Proposition
💡 Use your social media profile to share a personal win that happened in your life over the past week…and ask others to share one as well
💡Stop using the ‘corporate we’ when emailing or messaging people. Use first-person language (I, me, mine, etc.). It’s “My 3-step strategy for building wealth” – not “Our 3-step strategy for building wealth.” Take ownership!
Prospects and clients don’t want the “fancy” person.
They want the real down-to-earth advisor they can trust and connect with!

💸 ‘The Easiest $80K He Ever Earned’

Picture this: A client comes to you complaining about escalating health insurance rates.
Most of us would see this as a stressful challenge - but for one advisor, this proved to be a golden opportunity.
Not only was the advisor able to solve their client’s problem, but they were able to add extra revenue without doing more work.
How’d they do it? Through the power of joint work.
Joint Work ⚒️
What is joint work?
Think of it as assembling a financial team. You quarterback the client relationship while offering them a buffet of expertise.
In this advisors case, he turned to Undeniable Advisors to assemble his joint work team and help his client out.
Here’s what went down👇
The client, affiliated with Blue Cross Blue Shield, was an ideal candidate for a transition to a self-insured plan.
Undeniable Advisors, equipped with expertise and insight, not only identified this pathway but spearheaded the entire transition.
The client saved more than $90K. The advisor, meanwhile, earned more than $80K in commissions - and he didn’t even have to handle any of the details.

✌️Good Vibes

A heartwarming act by an Amazon driver is making waves online.
While on his delivery route, Elijah Bryant spotted a teenager struggling with his tie in Chicago.
In a video that's gone viral, Bryant stepped in to help Luke Breier with his tie, ensuring he looked sharp for Marist High School's Homecoming dance.
Bryant learned the art of tying ties from his church community and passed it on to his sons.
This unexpected kindness made Luke's senior homecoming even more special.
Grateful for Bryant's assistance, Luke's father, Eric Breier, said, "I just want to say thank you. He made him look good for the night."
Bryant says he starts every day with gratitude – and it certainly made a difference today! ☀️
